William Henry Clark, also known as William Henry Beck Clark, passed away at home on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 12:25 PM, in Richton, Mississippi, after a short and sudden bout with illness. He is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Jacque Clark, his mother, Doris Clark, his father, William Beck, Jr., and his stepfather, Curtis Clark. He leaves behind a daughter, Autumn Clark, who resides in Colorado, a son, Dylan Clark, who resides in Mississippi, and a grandson, Sebastyan Clark, who also resides in Colorado. William leaves his mark on the world by sharing his gift of skiing with thousands of skiers throughout the world. After he served in the U.S.A. Army at Fort Carson in Colorado, he became a ski instructor for Vail Resorts and taught for most of his adult life, as well as being a freelance artist on the off season. Many of his paintings were featured at a local art gallery in Vail, and his painting of the famous Lionshead Clock Tower was published on the cover of Vail’s tourism guide. William loved the outdoors of Colorado and all it had to offer. When he wasn’t skiing, he could be found fly fishing at the river or riding his Harley in the mountains with his friends. His favorite thing was to feel the wind on his face. William was a kind person with a free, yet gentle, spirit. He was loved and knew it; he passed surrounded by ones who loved him very much. William is finally at peace and his soul is with the Father in Heaven.
